The song was picturized on ANR and Lakshmi. Waheeda Rehman (as ANR`s step-sister) plays another role in this family melodrama. The movie story was taken from Yaddanpudi Sulochana Rani`s novel with the same title.

102 EmanDi lEta buggala lawyer gAru rAmarAjyam Ghantasala N/Al_link  Released in 1973. I have no idea about this movie except that Sarath Babu (his original name is Sathyanarayana Deekshith) debuted with this movie.
101 prEmanTE lOkamlO evarikee teliyadu anukunnadi sAdhistA Ramesh Naidu Mailavarapu Gopi   Released in 1977 and directed by P Chandrasekhara Reddy. The song was picturized on Narasimaha Raju and Latha. Latha plays twin dual roles as innocent and dynamic girls.  100 Vamsi Krishna.. yadu Vamsi Krishna.. vamSa vruksham KV Mahadevan C Narayana Reddyl_link  Released in 1980 and directed by Bapu. The song comes as a back-drop song, when the movie starts. Anit Kapoor`s Telugu debut (only one movie) happened with this movie. JV Somayajulu and Jyothi play the other two lead roles in the movie.
99 vrEpalliya eda jhalluna saptapadi KV Mahadevan Veturi   Released in 1981, produced by Edida Nageswara Rao and directed by K Viswanadh. The song was picturized by Sabitha Bhamidipati and Gireesh (I guess this guy acted in Subhalekha as Subhalekha Sudhakar`s brother). This movie seems to be an extension to Sankarabharanam movie. The director wonderfully executed the saameta "para stree talli tO samAnam" in the scene where Hema appears as ammavAru to Gowrinadha Sastry, when he enters the room for their first night (as Hema already has loved Murali, Hema is now a para stree (not a wife) to Gowri.

98 bhalE manchi rOju jarigina katha Ghantasala C Narayana Reddy   Released in 1969 and directed by K Babu Rao. The song was picturized on Jaggayya (with Krishna and Kanchana in the back-drop romanncing each other). Jaggayya and Krishna are brothers. Jaggayya starts liking Kanchana, but the moment he learns that his younger brother and Kanchana are in love, he sacrificies his love and gets both of them married. Vijayalalitha, out of jelousy, creates a rift between the brothers by planting a suspicion in Krishna`s mind that his elder brother and his wife are having an affair. Finally Krishna realizes the truth and all of them get united with a happy ending.
97 himagiri sogasulu.. pAnDava vanavAsam Ghantasala N/Al_link  Released in 1965 and directed by "Pouranika Brhma" Kamalakara Kameswara Rao. The song was picturized on NTR and Savitri. Three mAhA naTulu in the Telugu film industry (NTR, SVR and Savitri) play the lead roles of Bheema, Suyodhana and Drowpadi respectively. It seems that just because NTR played the Bheema role, this romantic song was picturized by the director on an odd pair like Bheema-Drowpadi :)

96 minnETi sUreeDu vachhina seetAkOka chiluka Ilaya Raja Veturil_linkV_link Released in 1981, produced by Edida Nageswara Rao (Poornodaya movies), and directed by Bharathi Raja. The song was picturized on Karthik, Muccherla Aruna and the chorus. Sarath Babu, Silk Smitha, and Dubbing Janaki play other important characters in the movie. It is a remake of the original Tamil movie by the same director and it had Karthik and Radha(is it Radha`s debut movie??). The movie is about an intra-religion teenage love. Ali appears in a notable child artist role (bAbAy gADu). As per Naresh, he was first promissed the hero role, but due to the pressure from the director, the hero in the original was taken in the Telugu version as well. It was one of the best albums from the maestro in the early 80s.
95 O.. naTana mayUri vayyAri.. Tik..Tik..Tik Ilaya Raja Acharya Athreyal_link  Released in 1981 and directed by Bharathi Raja. The song was picturized on Kamal and Madhavi. Kamal is a camera man and he exposes a big rocket of diamond smuggling in the bodies of beauriful girls that participate in the beauty pageants. Madhavi plays the main heroine roles and Radha and Swapna appear in the guest roles.

94 mella mella mellagA.. dAguDu mUtalu KV Mahadevan Acharya Athreya V_link Released in 1964 and directed by Adurthi Subba Rao. The song was picturized on NTR and B Saroja Devi. NTR is a grand-son a jamidaaru, but right from this childhood he grows up in a poor family and takes care of all other smaller kids in that family. B Saroja runs from her family to avoid a forcible marriage (to an old man) by her ill-minded step-mother and joins NTR and then they fall in love. Probably this is the only movie that I can recall in the combination of NTR and Adurthi. As usual, Maama came up with awesome melodies in the movie.
93 mabbulu renDu bhETee paDitE.. dESOddhArakulu KV Mahadevan Acharya Athreyal_linkV_link Released in 1973, produced by U Visweswara Rao (NTR`s bAva-maridi) and directed by Chittajallu Srinivasa Rao. The song was picturized on NTR and Vanisree. The specialty of this song is that Athreya covers all numbers one to seven in this song (as per Hanuman in the Discussion Board). NTR teaches a lesson to all anti-social elements such as Nagabhooshanam, Mikkilineni, Allu etc in the movie.

83 chiliki chiliki... prEmalu-peLLiLLu MS Viswanathan C Narayana Reddyl_link  Released in 1974 and directed by V Madhusudana Rao. The song was picturized on ANR and Jaya Lalitha. ANR is a doctor and falls in love with Jaya Lalitha and much against to his mother`s traditional wishes, he marries Jayalalitha. He gradually realizes that Jaya Lalitha is very headstrong, haughty, irresonsible and egoistic person, but he hopes that she would change her attitude after having the kids. Followed by a serious argument, she gives him divorce and walks out of his life, caring nothing for the kids. ANR then goes into a deep depression and comes back to his normal life with a caring and affectionate nurse, Saarada and then marries her. Now Jayalalitha realizes what she has missed, but when tries to come back to ANR, it is too late. In the climax, she dies by saving her kids in a quarry blasting accident.

82 chakkani chinnavADE datta putruDu T Chalapathi Rao N/Al_link  Released in 1972, produced by Thammareddy Krishnamurthy and directed by T Lenin Babu (producer`s son and an elder brother of Thammareddy Bharadwaja). The song was picturized on Vanisree and chorus. It is a family drama that goes in a village backdrop. Rama Krishna and Venniradai Nirmala play the second lead characters.
81 osE vayyAri rangi palleTUri bAva T Chalapathi Rao Acharya Athreya V_link Released in 1973, produced by Anumolu Subba Rao (a staunch ANR`s producer, who later becomes his viyyankuDu) and directed by K Pratyagatma. The song was picturized on ANR, Lakshmi and Subha. Lakshmi comes from an urban background and is forced to marry his palleTUri bAva. Subha is ANR`s innocent maradalu. When Subha wears the modern dress of Lakshmi, both ANR and Lakshmi tease her in this song. Lakshmi, intially a headstrong lady, finally gets remorseful for hurting ANR`s feelings and they happily unite again at the end. This song is generally considered as one of the best folklore songs in the Telugu films.

80 EmO, EmO idi.. aggi piDugu Rajan-Nagendra C Narayana Reddyl_link  Released in 1964 and directed by the jAnapada brahma, B Vithalacharya. The song was picturized on NTR and Rajasree. NTR plays twins roles in the this folklore movie with Krishna Kumari and Rajasree as the heroines. The twins are unique in the sense that the elder one`s feelings are felt by the younger one (like in Anil Kapoor`s Kishen-Kanhayya and Nagarjuna`s Hello Brother). Rajan-Nagendra are originally Telugu people settled in Karnataka. The brothers used to be active in the Telugu movies during the 60`s, mainly with the jAnapadam movies, and then made a grand re-entry into the Telugu in the mid 70`s with AVM`s Pooja movie.
79 ee rEyi neevu nEnu.. piDugu rAmuDu TV Raju C Narayana Reddy V_link Released in 1966 and directed by B Vithalacharya. The song was picturized on NTR and Rajasree. L Vijaya Lakshmi plays as a second heoine and Rajanala as a cruel sEnApati. This one of the most popular NTR`s jAnapadam movies. Vithalacharya is originally a Kannadiga and was told by some fortune teller to try the movies in non-Kannada movie and he chose Telugu movies. Vithalacharya has become a synonym with the Telugu folklore movies.

78 pAvurAyi pApAyirO bebbuli JV Raghavulu Veturi   Released in 1980, produced by Vadde Ramesh and directed by V Madhusudana Rao. The song was picturized on Krishnam Raju and Sujatha. Krishnam Raju is an orphan and grows up as a ruffian. A school teacher, Sujatha brings a positive change in him and he exposes the real crucked identity of the villain, Rao Gopala Rao and puts stops to his nefarious acts in the town. This is one of the best action movies from the Rebel Star in the early 80`s. JV Raghavulu gave awesome mass melodies in this movie.
77 O.. jAbilee.. (duet) Rangoon Rowdy JV Raghavulu N/Al_link  Released in 1979, produced by Vadde Ramesh and directed by Dasari Narayana Rao. The song was picturized on Krishnam Raju and Jayaprada. This movie is one of the biggest hits in the career of Krishnam Raju. Dasari took the childhood part from Amitabh`s Mukaddar kaa Sikandar movie. This song comes in two version (a solo version and as this duet) and the tune was taken from the same Hindi movie. Interestingly, the Hindi movie was later remade as prEma tarangAlu with Krishnam Raju and Chiru in the roles of Amitabh and Vinod Khanna respectively.

The song was picturized on Chandra Mohan and Jaya Malini. This multi-starrer (with low-budject stars such as Ranganadh, Chandra Mohan, Madala Ranga Rao etc) movie is losely inspired by Naagin (1975) with Jaya Malini in the Reena Roy role.
75 idi prEma sAmrAjyam manDE gunDelu KV Mahadevan Acharya Athreyal_link  Released in 1979, produced by D Rama Naidu and directed by K Bapayya. The song was picturized on Chandra Mohan and Madhavi. Sobhan Babu and Krishna along with Jaya Sudha and Jaya Prada respectively play the lead roles in this movie. The hospital scene (where Prabhakara Reddy searches for a wounded patient, Jaya Prada to kill her) was lifted from Dev Anand`s CID movie.

72 allO mallo..AkASamlO AtmeeyuDu JV Raghavulu Acharya Athreya   Released in 1977 and directed by Tatineni Rama Rao. The song was picturized on ANR and Jaya Chitra. ANR is an orphan and he is brought up by kind-hearted Sathyanarayana. Murali Mohan is his son and gets killed by his relatives (Rao Gopala Rao etc) for aasthi and the blame goes on to ANR. The rest of the story is about how ANR gets himself exonerated from the blame by bringing Rao Gopala Rao to justice.
71 kuSalamEnA..kurradAnA manmadha leela MS Viswanathan N/Al_link  Released in 1977, produced by Vijaya Bapineedu and directed by K Bala Chandar. The song was picturized on Kamal Hassan and Halam. Interestingly, Halam plays a house wife role and Jaya Prada plays a neighbor role.  66 kanula mundu nEvunTE.. chelleli kApuram KV Mahadevan C Narayana Reddyl_link  Released in 1971, produced by Balayya Mannava (the character actor), and directed by Kasinadhuni Viswanadh. The song was picturized on Sobhan Babu and Vanisree. Sobhan Babu appears in a de-glamorized, sacrificial character. Sobhan is a naturally talented poet, but doesn`t get a good break. Nagabhooshanam is his friend and he exploits Sobhan`s writing talent. Sobhan agrees to be his ghost writer on a condition that Nagabhooshanam should marry his sister. Vanisree, a rich girl with literary taste, falls in love with the poet name. Gradually she realizes that Sobhan is the actual poet and she exposes Nagabhooshanam`s true identity at the end.

62 galagalA..jalajalA.. poTTElu punnamma KV Mahadevan Acharya Athreyal_link  Released in 1978 and produced by Devar films and directed by R Thyagarajan. The song was picturized on Sripriya. Sripriya, Murali Mohan and Mohan Babu are in the title role, hero and villain roles respectively. Punnamma is a dynamic village belle and her pet poTTElu always safeguards her. Murali Mohan, a rich kid of an estate owner (Rao Gopala Rao), falls in love with Punnamma. Mohan Babu, the estate manager, sets his lusty eyes on Punnamma, but can not stop Murali Mohan from marrying her. Later Mohan Babu is successful in seperating the couple by gradually making Murali Mohan a drunkard. In the climax, poTTElu kills Mohan Babu (as far as I vaguely recall) and the couple happily unite together again.
61 OhO taddimi takajhanu.. bandipOTu viplava simhaM KV Mahadevan Veturil_link  Released in 1982 and it is a dubbed movie from Tamil. The song was picturized on Jaya Malini in a tirunALLu. Rajani Kanth, Sridevi and Chiru play the hero, heroine and villain rolls respectively. Rajani Kanth comes home from military and falls in love with a village belle, Sridevi. Chiru is Rajani Kanth`s friend-cum-bAva. Chiru gradually turns out be a decoit and in the climax, he surrenders to police. In keeping Chiru`s upcoming star image during that time, the Telugu title was named after his role. Another interesting thing is that Allu Aravind produced this dubbed movie and he took this song (for this dubbed movie), which was originally planned for K Viswanadh`s Subha lEkha movie (Aravind is a co-producer of this movie). Later Chiru appeared in a guest role in Rajani Kanth`s Tamil movie, mA piLLai (a remake of attaku yamuDu-ammAyiki moguDu in 1989).

60 pAlarAti bommaku nee vagalu.. ammAyi peLLi Sathyam Dasaradhil_link  Released in 1974 and produced/directed by Bhanumathi. The song was picturized on Chandra Mohan and Latha. NTR and Bhanumathi are the main leads in the movie. I recently watched this movie on DVD in parts and I should say that Bhanumathi was worst at her direction and the characters (Bhanumathi, NTR, Latha and kids) were so loud that I had to turn off the TV right away. I did not have a chance to watch this wonderful song though.
59 lipi lEni kanTi baasa SreevAriki prEmalEkha Ramesh Naidu Veturi V_link Released in 1984, produced by Ramoji Rao and directed by Jandhyala. The song was picturized Naresh and Muccherla Aruna. Poornima is the actual heroine in the movie. This movie is the starting-point for all full-length comdey movies and I am not sure if any other Telugu comdey hit movie (made until the early 80s) revolutionized the Comedy films like the way this movie did. As most of you must have watched this movie, I am not going over the movie details.

58 nA jeevana sandhyA samayamlO.. amara deepam Sathyam Veturil_link  Released in 1977, produced by Krishnam Raju and directed by K Raghavendra Rao. The song was picturized on Krishnam Raju and Jayasudha. This successful movie is a triangular story with Krishnam Raju at a sacrificial end. Krishnam Raju starts loving Jayasudha and comes to know that Murali Mohan and Jayasudha love each other and he sacrifies his love after knowing that Murali Mohan is none other than his long lost younger brother. Krishnam Raju even commits suicide in the end to prove that he is not a hinderance in the middle of their love. Krishnam Raju once quoted that he loved the style of Raghavendra Rao after watching his debut movie, bAbu (1975), a Sobhan Babu starrer and roped him in as the movie director. This movie has one of the very rare combinations of Raghavendra Rao and Sathyam (the other two being prEmalEkhalu (1978) and madhura swapnam (1982), again another Krishnam Raju`s movie).
57 evvaridi ee pilupu mAnasa veeNa MS Viswanathan Acharya Athreya   Released in 1983. Probably the song was picturized on Raj Kumar (who earlier worked in andAla rAsi and he is a brother of the veteran heroine, Latha) and Revathi. I did not watch this movie and hence don`t know the movie details.

56 sanda poddu andAlunna chinnadee.. tUrpu veLLE railu SP Balu Arudra   Released in 1979 and directed by Bapu. The song was picturized on Mohan and Jyothi. This is a remake of Bharathi Raja`s Tamil movie in which Sudhakar (pichha koTTuDu) and Radhika played the original roles. Balu gave all excellent tunes in this movie.
55 tella mabbu tEru meeda.. chinnODu-peddODu SP Balu Vennelakantil_link  Released in 1987 and directed by Relangi Narasimha Rao. The song was picturized on Rajendra Prasad and Khushboo. Rajendra Prasad and Chandra Mohan play the title roles in this comedy family drama. Both brothers are innocent villagers and they try to impress their city-bred maradalu, Khushboo and finally Rajendra Prasad wins the race. After nearly 8 years of gap (after mangaLa tOraNAlu, I guess), Seethamalakshmi fame Talluri Rameswari acts (in a Telugu movie again) as a widow in this movie.  54 EmanukunnAvu.. nannEmanukunnAvu? bangAru bAbu KV Mahadevan Acharya Athreyal_link  Released in 1973 and produced/directed by Veeramachaneni Babu Rajendra Prasad. The song was picturized on ANR and Vanisree. Vanisree, a cine actress runs away from home and runs into ANR, a simple railway guard and falls in love for his genuine love and innocence. Later she has to leave him and goes back to her acting profession. The rest of the story is about how they unite together again.
53 yEDu konDalavADA..venkaTESa (sad) sOggADu KV Mahadevan Acharya Athreyal_linkV_link Released in 1975, produced by Daggubati Rama Naidu and directed by Kovelamudi Bapayya. The song was picturized on Sobhan Babu. Sobhan Babu perfectly fits the role of sOggADu Sobhanadri. Jaya Chitra and Jaya Sudha play the heroine roles and Sathyanarayana as a villain. Sobhan Babu and his educated maradalu, Jaya Sudha are in love with each other, but his mEna mAma, Allu insults him that Sobhan doesn`t deserve his daughter and then Sobhan Babu challenges that he would marry a better girl. Then he marries Jaya Chitra, a niece of a cruel landlord, Sathyanarayana. Sobhan Babu comes to know that the sadistic Sathyanarayana mercilessly kills his father during his childhood. In the climax, Sobhan Babu punishes Sathyanarayana in the same way his father was tortured to death, but leaves him alive on his mother`s request. Sobhan Babu said that he had taken an inspiration from the mannerisms of a person at his native place (Chinna Nandigama, Kriushna dt.) while playing this title role and Sobhan Babu felicitated that elder person during the 100th day celebrations of this movie. This movie remains as one of my BEST favorite movies from the 70`s. 1975 was the best year for Sobhan Babu in his entire career, as he had super hits with an excellent combination of family and action entertainers such as bali peeTham, jeevana jyOti, jEbu donga, and ofcourse sOggADu.

52 vechha vechhani nee voDilO.. SabhAsh vadina KV Mahadevan N/A   Released in 1972. I didn`t watch this movie and hence don`t know the movie details. Krisham Raju and Chandra Mohan acted in this movie and this song seems to be on Chandra Mohan and on a second heroine (I wonder who played the title character!).
51 pAlaghAT mAdhavan.. chiTikeyyavE rAdhA kalyANam KV Mahadevan C Narayana Reddyl_link  Released in 1981 and directed by Bapu. The song was picturized on Chandra Mohan and Radhika. Maama, KV Mahadevan was at his best with all excellent tunes in this movie. It is a triangular love story with Sarath Babu at the sacrificial end. It was a remake of a Tamil movie by Bhagya Raja and later it was remade by Bapu himself in Hindi as "Woh saath din", an Anil Kapoor starrer in the mid 80s. Another Hindi movie, "Hum dil de chuke sanam" (released in 1999) again has striking similaries with a similar theme.

The song was picturized on Chiru and Poornima Jayaram (who later married Bhagya Raja). The movie is about how Chiru teaches a lesson to Allu (an arrogant, rich businessman) who insults Chiru`s family. This is the only one movie with Bapu/Chiru combination (though Chiru acted in a small role in manavUri pAnDavulu earlier) and with Bapu/Ilaya Raja combination.

40 Orabbi.. bangAru mAma nippu lAnTi manishi Sathyam N/A   Released in 1974 and directed by SD Lal. The song was picturized on two pairs (a couple of junior artists and NTR/Latha). The movie is a remake of Amitab`s trend-setting Zanjeer movie with NTR, Latha, Sathyanarayana, Prbahakara Reddy and Relangi in the roles of Amitab, Jaya, Pran, Ajit and Om Prakash respectively. Gollapudi wrote dialogues for this movie. NTR aptly suited the angry police officer role and the movie got good name for Sathyanarayana too. Probably this is the first noted movie in the combination of NTR and Sathyam (though Sathyam worked for a lot of NTR movies as TV Raju`s assistant earlier).

SP Balu debuted as a music director with this movie. Balu told me an interesting story behind this song: Veturi wrote this song for some movie else, but the song was not okayed by the producer/director and out of frustration, Veturi made the paper up as a little paper roll and threw it up across the room and walked out. Later Balu entered the same room and stepped on that paper roll. When he read the lyrics, he was simply impressed with the pada prayOgAlu.  32 rALLallO isakallO.. seetArAma kalyANam KV Mahadevan Acharya Athreyal_linkV_link Released in 1986, produced by Katragadda Murari and directed by Jandhyala Venkata Durga Siva Subrahmanya Sastry. The song was picturized on Bala Krishna and Rajani. The story is about bAvA-maradaLLu (who get seperated since their childhood and fall in love with each other in college when they grow up) and about their family/village level kakshalu. Finally they unite together with the elders` consent. This movie has a lot of specialties: Athreya and mAma worked with Jandhyala for the first time. KV Mahadevan usually gets the tune ready only when the lyrics are ready. The producer is very fond of an annamAchArya keertana (konDalapai nelakonna) and he got this tune ready by mAma on the lines of that keertana in the late 70`s itself, but he could not use the tune for his movies like triSUlam and abhimanyuDu. Finally, he used the tune in this movie and Athreya penned down the apt lyrics to the tune. This movie is one of the two movies with Jandhyala-mAma combination (the other one being vichitra prEma, which was released later). Also, this one is mAma`s 551st movie. Bhanu Priya was the first choice, but the opportunity eventually ended up in Rajan`s lap.

The song was picturized on Rajesh and Rajya Lakshmi. The movie tried to give a message on Hindu/Muslim harmony. The main story is about four people: Gummadi, his daughter (Rajya Lakshmi) in the Hindu characters and JV Somayajulu and Rajesh in the Muslim characters. Rajesh debuted with this movie (he died at an younger age in the late 90`s or so). This is the fourth movie for Jandhyala as a director (after mudda mandAram, malle pandiri, and nAlugu sthambhAlATa) and but it financially disappointed every one. When things go against her (she loses all her riches followed by her dad` death and her opportunistic boy friend deserts her), Sobhan Babu marries her and they start having a good family. The clashes between the selfish new management and the union take Sobhan`s life and Saarada along with her three kids become orphans. This movie was remade from a Malayalam movie with Prem Nazir and Saarada and the movie success is a big turning point in the careers of Sobhan and Saarada.

It is a tri-angular love story among Sobhan Babu, Sujatha and a new comer, Vakkalanka Padma (probably this is her first and last movie) with Sujatha being at the sacrificial end. If I am not mistaken, the story was lifted from "idE nyAyam"(??), written by the then-famous novelist, Muppalla Ranganayakamma. But in the movie titles, the writer name appears as Rama Lakshmi (Mrs Arudra). I heard Dasari had to go around the courts because of this plagiarism issue, although the movie was a superhit. In the early 70`s, Malladi wrote a short story with the same theme (two lovers, who in advance know that they would die soon, fall in love with each other) and I guess Malladi too would have been inspired by an English novel. The song was picturized on Krishnam Raju and Vanisree. The story tells us that Arjunudu re-incarnates as a tribal, Kannappa who in the beginning is a hardcore athiest, but eventually turns into a staunch devotee of the Lord Siva. Except Siva Siva Sankara song (by Adi Narayana Rao), the rest of the songs were composed by Sathyam. Later his real parents come and take him to their urban home, but the innocent and straight-forward Chalam can not adjust among those artificial relations. Except his mom and his mEna mAma (Nagabhushanam), one one else (including his dad and elder brothers) can not understand his situation. One night he runs away from the new home and goes back to his fostered parents and then every one realizes that he would be happy with the village life only. The song was picturized on Krishna, Manjula and chorus (in a disguise of Hippies, when the Police searches for them). This movie is inspired by the Dharmendra starrer, Yaadon ki Baraat, but it lost the competition to the NTR starrer, annadammula anubandham (which is a straight remake of the same Hindi movie) that had been released a few days earlier to this movie. Krishna, Chandra Mohan and Latha play the siblings` roles in the movie. I personally feel that this song is one of the best Sathyam songs that often get ignored.

6 chaka chaka sAgE chakkani bullemma malle puvvu Chakravarthi Veeturil_linkV_link Released in 1978, produced by Samatha arts (Chattarjee) and directed by Victory (Veeramachaneni) Madhusudana Rao. Though it is a remake of Guru Dutt starrer, Pyasa, this movie is very well made and remains as one of the best movies from Sobhan Babu. The song was picturized on Sobhan Babu and Jaya Sudha. The natural acting of Sobhan Babu (who gets ditched by his lover, Jaya Sudha and by his own brothers) and Lakshmi (who acts as a hooker) in the movie is simply awesome. Another best thing about the movie is the songs, composed by Chakravarthi and I consider this movie to be his BEST piece of work among his 900-plus movies.

4 swAti mutyapu jallulalO prEma yuddham Hamsa Lekha N/Al_linkV_link Released in 1990 and directed by the Kannada director, Rajendra Singh Babu. The song was picturized on Nagarjuna and Amala.
3 swAti lO mutyamanta bangAru bullODu Raj-Koti Veturil_linkV_link Released in 1993, produced by VB Rajendra Prasad, and directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetti. The producer amalgamated the titles of two of his old hits (bangAru bAbu and dasarA bullODu) into this movie title. The song was picturized on Bala Krishna and Raveena Tandon. Ramya Krishna plays as another heroine, while Devaraj and Sharat Saxena play the villain roles. Koti and SV Krishna Reddy (in his mAyalODu movie for a solo song) both lifted the starting tune of the song from one of Apache Indian`s pop albums. But Koti turned that in to an awesome melody, though inspired by a pop song.
