Sudha Sastry
Though Sudha was born in Kurnool, she was brought up in Chennai and Mumbai and it is because of her parents' strong penchant for Telugu language, she has a perfect Telugu diction, though she is not fluent in Telugu reading/writing. She has been in the US for 8 years and currently lives in Fremont, CA. Music has always been an integral part of her life. She dabbled with Carnatic music in her childhood and later went on to pursue serious Hindustani classical music under an able tutelage of Pandit Prabhakar Karekar in Mumbai. Although deeply fond of melodious Hindi music and Ghazals, language has never been a barrier for her when it comes to performing any kind of melodies. Motherhood has resulted in a long sabbatical from learning music, but she is now glad to get back to some serious music. Currently, she is one of the best Telugu/Hindi singers in the Bay Area and she is a regular performer at the local Karaoke shows and other local cultural programs. She has performed in two of the earlier ChimataMusic concerts (Sathyam and KV Mahadevan shows) in 2009 and has become an integral part of the ChimataMusic Singers team.

Narayanan Raju
Narayanan, a versatile singer, hails from Hyderabad and lives currently in Santa Clara, CA. He started classical music training at a very young age and had given several performances in All India Radio Child and Youth programs. Having had to give up his training because of career and other circumstances, he was always on the look-out for an opportunity to rediscover and pursue his passion for music. Moving to the bay area gave him an opportunity to restart his Carnatic music training with Smt. Jayashree Varadarajan. Since then he has been a regular performer in the bay area giving several concerts and programs. He has been a core member of the local Aavakai Band and also worked with few other bands in the bay area performing in both Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. He is an active member of local SiliconAndhra org and volunteers in supporting audio for several Silicon Andhra programs. Though he has been in the musical circuit here only for the past couple of years, his voice range and quality have been recognised and he got an opportunity as a playback singer for the telugu movie "Prasthanam" (released on 04/16/10). With more opportunities coming his way and continued training, he hopes to keep pursuing his passion for music in all its various forms and colors. This is the first time for Narayanan to perform for ChimataMusic band.
